More Hikes

We have done a few more hikes this summer that have been fun.  We went to Yellow Fork Canyon in Herriman, Butterfield Canyon in Herriman, a suspension bridge in Draper on the Bonneville shoreline trail, and Battle Creek Falls in Pleasant Grove.  Yellow Fork Canyon was mostly just a flat shaded trail with no destination. In Butterfield Canyon we found a ravine with a creek and a few beat up old trucks down at the bottom.  The trucks had a bunch of bullet holes in them.  We have no idea how they got there because there was no road nearby for them to fall off. There was lots of shade and big butterflies.  We tried to catch butterflies in Jace's net but didn't catch any. The suspension bridge in Draper was 185 feet long and crossed over some water.  It swayed as we walked on it. There were lots of dragon flies. Battle Creek Falls is a 50 foot waterfall.  It was so pretty and we saw people rappelling next to the waterfall. We also saw a ton of dragon flies on this hike too. Amos and Lucian also went on a sunset hike in Butterfield Canyon one night.
