Baby Shower

My Aunt Shannon threw me a baby shower for our little girl.  We all got pedicures first.  Aunt Shannon brought balloons and cute party favors.  She even had candy that said "Violet," which is going to be our baby girl's name (most likely). Then we went to Amanda's house for cupcakes (thanks Laura) and presents.  Meghan gave me a cute polka dot dress and sparkly pacifier clip. Aunt Shannon made me a cute blanket that matches sheets I have and a pacifier clip.  Laura gave me a bunch of cute onesies with bibs and hair bows. Amanda gave me a burp cloth bib, soft stuffed lamb rattle, a teething toy purse, and wrist and foot rattles.  It was fun to get together and get cute girlie things.

Jace Turns 3

Our sweet boy turned 3 on Friday.  Amos took the day off work.  We went to City Creek with my dad and Laura to have lunch/cake and play on the dinosaur playground.  He got a play shopping cart from Grandpa Craig and Grandma Laura. Then we took him to the rec center to go swimming. On Saturday, we had a Lightning McQueen (Cars) birthday party.  A neighbor made the awesome cake for us. We had lunch, played pin the teeth on Mater, played Cars bingo, opened presents, had birthday cake, then watched the Cars movie.  Jace had a great time. He got a balance bike, T ball equipment, a car mat, art stuff, bakery Play Doh kit, a dump truck wrecking ball, and a Cars toy.

Curiosity Museum

I took Jace to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point a couple of days before his birthday. I wanted to take him before he turned three so that he was still free. We had fun climbing around and up the rope swings, playing in the water area, doing a craft, and playing in the kid city.
