Christmas activities

So far this holiday season we have gone to Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point to see the lights with Grandma Mayne, visited Santa at the library, made gingerbread houses with Missy, Nan, and their kids, decorated sugar cookies at Grandma Karen's with Michael's family, and saw Zoo Lights with Grandma Karen and Michael's family. Jace also wrote a letter to Santa.  He asked for a surprise and Hot Wheels Roto Revolution.  He also decorated a tree with stickers that he got from his friend Hadley.  Each day in December we read a scripture about Christmas and read a Christmas story.  We also do an activity each day like make a craft, shop for presents, watch a Christmas show, etc.

Thanksgiving

Chris and his family were able to come for Thanksgiving this year.  We all went to Grandma Karen's for Thanksgiving dinner.  It was crazy and funny trying to get a picture of her with all of the grandkids.  We were also able to go to a couple parks to play and out to eat another day with them.

Lots of Fall Stuff

I have a bunch of pictures that didn't need their own posts from different fall activities.  Jace wanted to take pictures of Violet and himself in matching striped pajamas.  We went to Gardner Village with Missy and her kids to the witch scavenger hunt.  Jace got a kiss from a llama named Prudence. On Fall Break we went on a short hike and picnic with Missy, Nan, and their kids up Yellow Fork Canyon. We went to the Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point with Nan, Olivia, and little Jace. We went to the park with Grandpa Craig. Jace made cool cabins with Linkin Logs.  We went to Rhett's second birthday party. We helped Grandma Karen rake her leaves. Grandpa Mayne bought a new cabin.  Amos and Jace went for a sleepover. Violet is hugging stuffed animals at Kohl's, "helping" unload the dishwasher, and doing "monkey bars" on the stove.
