We had a fun week leading up to Christmas. Amos took the week off work. Amos and Jace went swimming, we had friends over for dinner, I took Jace to a movie, Amos and Jace built a snowman, we built gingerbread houses with the Hillers, went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point, saw the lights at Temple Square, and went to two extended family Christmas parties. On Christmas Eve we went to my mom's house for dinner, Jesus's birth story, songs, presents, and Skyping with Chris and his family. On Christmas, we let Jace open his stocking and present from Santa, then we had breakfast, then we headed off to church. After church, Grandma Mayne and Mandy came over while we opened other presents. In the afternoon, we went to Grandpa Mayne's for presents and dinner. Then we went to Grandma Mayne's for presents and food. The next day, my dad, Laura, and Grandma Nadine came to our house for lunch and presents. We had a fun weekend, and for a couple days after Jace kept asking if we had any more presents to open. He got so many nice, fun presents. Violet mostly liked the wrapping paper, bows, and tags on her presents.
