Utah State Fair

We went to the Utah State Fair with Missy, Ryan, and Truman.  We started at the giant yellow slide that you go down on burlap rugs.  Jace didn't smile, but he also didn't cry so I guess that means he liked it. Then we went to this cute kid's farm where kids get to do pretend farm chores.  They get to put corn in a bucket and feed it to a pretend cow, brush a sheep, plant a seed, pick a vegetable, get an egg, and ride a tractor.  At the end when they put all the stuff back they get a pretend dollar to get a small treat.  Truman really liked this activity.  I'm sure Jace will love it next year.  We went to a room that had a lot of fun children's toys, like the kind you would find in a children's museum.  Then we went to see the animals while it was raining.  Jace fell asleep in his stroller.  It kept raining so we knew we needed to head home, but not before we each got a treat.  I got an elephant ear and Amos got a giant turkey leg.  I should have taken a picture of that.  He looked like a caveman when he was eating it.  All in all it was a fun experience and I am excited to take Jace next year when he can walk and do more activities. I didn't bring my camera so thanks Missy for sending us these pictures!
