Random

These are some random cute pictures of the kids at the zoo (Violet is trying to hug the porcupines), Violet sitting in a Lego table where the Legos are supposed to be, Violet wiping food in her hair which happens frequently, Jace and Violet snuggling, and Violet at the park.

Lagoon

Amos's work had a party at Lagoon in September.  We got free tickets and a free lunch.  It was a bit chilly, but I would prefer that over blazing heat. The kids loved going on the rides.  Jace was really brave and went on all the rides he was tall enough for.  The only time Violet cried was when a ride stopped. Ha ha. She loved all the rides she could go on, and probably would have gone on some wilder ones if they would have let her.

Touch a Truck

For the opening of the Herriman City Hall, they had an event where you could sit in different tractors and trucks.  Even thought it was cold outside, we knew Jace would really like going.  They got to go in a little fire truck, a street sweeper, and a backhoe, and a tractor. 

Girls Weekend

In September my friends from my last neighborhood decided to do a girls weekend in Bear Lake.  My friend Sarah let us use her timeshare-thanks Sarah! We met on Friday and drove to Logan.  We got groceries, met up with Julia who drove in from Idaho, and went to Chinese for dinner.  Then we drove to Bear Lake and went to The Chocolate Bear for treats.  It was a cold weekend.  We ate snacks, chatted, and played games.  On Saturday, we went to see the lake, went to La Beau's for fries and shakes, played Volleyball, went to the hot tub, and more games.  We went home on Sunday afternoon.  It was such a great weekend, and I can't wait for the next one!

State Fair

We went to the State Fair at the beginning of September with Grandma Mayne. She got Jace a wristband for unlimited rides so we were there for a long time!  We also did Little Hands on the Farm and got fried cookie dough.
