Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch at Petersen Farm. We picked pumpkins to add to our wheel barrow and went down a slide they had at the top of a pyramid of hay bales. Jace wanted to add a ton of pumpkins to our wheel barrow to buy. He wanted small ones, colorful ones, warty ones, big ones, gourds, etc.  We will paint and carve our pumpkins soon.

Violet is 4 Months Old

Violet is 4 months old.  She is starting to grab for toys and other things a little bit.  She has given us a little chuckle a couple of times but not a full out laugh.  She finally figured out how to lift her head up during "tummy time" so her neck is getting stronger. She is starting to stay awake a little longer between her short naps. Jace still loves hugging her and squeezing her chubby legs. The picture of her in the white dress is my dress from when I was a baby.

State Fair

We went to the Utah State Fair and Grandma Mayne came too.  We saw a circus and some restored Model Ts.  Jace did the "Little Hands on the Farm" activity.  We went on the big yellow slide a few times.  Grandma Mayne bought ride tickets so that we could go on some rides.  Then we saw some animals and had some food. Finally, we had some fried cookie dough.  I had never tried one of the fried fair food before.  It was yummy.
