Mueller Park

Our next door neighbors, the Nelsons, are moving to Idaho.  They arranged a cookout at Mueller Park Canyon for our friends to get together for one last time before they move.  It was really fun.  I was kind of disappointed that I did not know this place existed while we were living in North Salt Lake.  It was a beautiful canyon that had hiking trails and campfire spots.  Julia made a yummy Dutch oven dinner. The kids liked playing in the water and exploring the forest parts.  Jace wouldn't stay put for a picture with the kids. These are the ladies that I did girls' nights and book clubs with.  It is sad that we are all moving farther away from each other. I hope we will still together.

Family

Chris and his family came for a couple weeks in June.  It was our first time seeing Jane since she was born.  She is super cute and sweet! We had a nice family dinner and tried to get some family pictures.  We did some fun things with them like go swimming, to the zoo, visit Gardner Village, and hang out at Grandma Karen's house.  Jace wasn't feeling all that well during some of their visit, which was unfortunate. He seemed to have a fever.  He had a fun time anyway and is still talking about them.  I wish we could see them more often.
