Jace is 5 Months Old!

Jace is such a sweet baby.  He is very good natured.  He still likes to look at the curtains.  He is making lots of sounds now.  He smiles at us when we walk into a room, even before we smile at him.  He still seems like he's teething, but he doesn't have any teeth yet.  He puts everything into his mouth and sucks on his hands and fingers.  Some days he is very drooly.  He still likes to read books with us. He is finally starting to sleep longer at night, like 8-10 hours.  Yippee!  He rolls over onto his tummy by himself, but can't roll himself back when he doesn't want to be on his tummy anymore.  I've found him sleeping on his tummy a few times during the night.  He likes us to lift him in the air like an airplane.  He went through a phase where all the sounds he made involved him spitting all over.  Now he makes a wheezing sound like someone who has smoked all his life. He is getting close to sitting up by himself.  One day he sat up for about 3 seconds before he tipped over.  We just love him so much and enjoy playing, singing, and reading to him all day every day.

 

 

 

The Living Planet Aquarium

Memorie, Henry, and Eliza are visiting for the next couple of weeks.  We decided to go the aquarium.  My mom, Michael, Amanda, and Rock were there too.  After, we went to Mimi's Cafe for lunch.
