3 months old

Jace is 3 months old today.  He is such a cutie.  He is starting to use his hands a little bit more now. He grabs a few things and tries to put them in his mouth.  He likes to suck on his fingers. Also, he has giggled a few times.  He is usually in a good mood and very smiley.  He still isn't sleeping through the night or very consistent at all with sleeping.  Some nights he gets up once, others twice, and sometimes more than that.  When we go to bed at night I never know what to expect.  Later in the day he doesn't like napping in his crib for some reason so he usually ends up in his swing.  He still likes books and songs.  He can stand up and sit up really well and likes to kick his feet when he's laying down.  We call him Crazy Legs Mayne.  We just love him so much.  He is so fun!

Blessing

We blessed Jace at church on May 12, 2013.  It also happened to be Mother's Day.  I thought this was sweet because it was my first Mother's Day being a mom.  Amos did a great job giving the blessing.  Lots of family and friends came to support us, which I really appreciated.  After sacrament meeting, we went to the park near our house to have brunch.  There was a lot of yummy food.  Thanks to everyone that came to the blessing, and to the people that helped bring the food.  We had a really memorable day.

Jace slept through most of the celebration.

Amos was tired when we got home :)

 

 

 

 

Party

Jace attended his first birthday party a couple of weeks ago.  Our next door neighbor, Finn, was turning one.  Jace had a great time looking around at the decorations and people.

Jace likes reading stories with us.  It is so cute!  He looks at the pages and kicks his feet.
